Terms & Conditions
By placing an order with Online Carpets you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:
1. We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. It is your responsibility to read the Terms and Conditions on each occasion that you use this website, and your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest Terms and Conditions.
2. If you are not a consumer, you confirm that you have the authority to bind any business on whose behalf you use this website
3. The 'confirmation' stage sets out the final details of your order. Following this, we will send to you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered. Please note that this email is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from us. Once we have received your order we will check the necessary information such as stock levels and pricing.
4. Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place when we dispatch the products ordered, unless we have notified you that we are unable to accept your order or you have cancelled it.
5. Delivery charges and estimated timescales are specified in the Delivery Information section. We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales, however delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors, and deliveries of multiple items may arrive on separate days or on different deliveries. We are under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products within the estimated timescales.
6. Risk of loss and damage of products passes to you on the date when the products are delivered or the date that the first delivery is attempted by us.
7. In most cases delivery is to your external front door. Occasionally, due to accessibility constraints, the driver may only be able to deliver your order to the nearest ground floor access point, which may be the kerbside. Please note if you live in a flat or apartment our drivers cannot deliver up flights of stairs. In certain circumstances, the delivery driver may require assistance with larger items.
8. Please note that RM CARPET LTD strongly advises that you do not book your fitter or landscaper until you have received and checked your order, as we are not liable for any installation costs or lost wages.
9. The price you pay is the price displayed on the product page of this website for your specified size(s) at the time we receive your order. While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.
10. Ownership to any products you order with RM CARPET LTD shall pass to you on delivery of the products provided that we have processed and received payment in full for the products.
11. When ordering from RM CARPET LTD via the website or over the phone you have a right to cancel and return your order up to 7 days after receiving your order. Some products are excluded from this policy for example items which are cut to your bespoke size. Please note you will be responsible for the organisation and cost of returning the item(s) to us. All items must be returned in the same packaging and condition in which they were received by you.
12. For collections we do require that the item is well wrapped ready for transit, if packaging is needed we can send this out to you. The collection is from the nearest kerbside of the property and the driver may need help loading if the collection item is heavy. If the item is not wrapped or you are unable to bring it out to the kerbside at the time of collection the collection may not be completed.
